Match notes
Nakamura vs. Tonga. Nakamura came out with Kyoki and Tonga with Talla Tonga and Haku, per Wrestling Inc. Wrestling Inc says Kyoki sent Talla into the barricade with a knee, which opened the door for the Kinshasa. WWE.com says Kyoki again tried to steal the Tongan staff. Tonga is half of the WWE Tag Team Champions.
Women's Tag Team Championship. The match was thrown out when Bliss and Paxley ran in, per Wrestling Inc. Bayley then arrived and went after Jacy Jayne until Jade Cargill set up a Jaded. That is when Flair's music hit. Flair chopped Cargill and went for a figure-four, but the hold was broken up and everyone brawled again. Flair, Bayley, Bliss and Paxley stood tall.
Priest vs. Frazer. Priest hit a Razor's Edge that sent Frazer over the announce table, and the referee called it off, per WWE.com. Priest then sent Axiom into the ring post.
Owens vs. Punk. WWE.com says the two brawled through the arena with chairs, tables and production equipment. Punk hit a GTS, but Owens rebounded off the ropes and punched him with the chain for the pin, per Wrestle Purists and WWE.com. There is no disqualification in this match type.
Moments that mattered
- Zayn and Jimmy Uso. Jimmy told Zayn that The Bloodline is at war with The 946 and that Zayn would be beaten at Crown Jewel. The 946 then attacked Jimmy, with Cruz Montana among those in the ring. Zayn hesitated and walked off, per Wrestling Inc.
- Flair's warning. Backstage, Flair said: "If they want to go to war, let's go to war," per Wrestling Headlines. Wrestling Inc reads that as a build to the women's WarGames match on Nov. 28. We did not find a WWE announcement of that match.
- Chelsea Green and Liv Morgan. Green said Morgan's words had fed her own doubts. Morgan interrupted and called her a "charity case," per WWE.com.
- Gunther and Finn Balor. Gunther demanded the "real" Balor. Balor came out without the Demon paint and fought back before Gunther rolled out of the ring, per Wrestling Inc.
- Also on the show. Trick Williams answered Priest backstage, and Rey Mysterio announced Team USA vs. Team Mexico for Survivor Series, per Wrestle Purists. John Cena is set for next week's SmackDown, per Wrestle Purists.
