The quick version

  • WWE did not announce WrestleMania 43 dates during Crown Jewel, per Wrestling News Source and NoDQ. Earlier reports had said it might.
  • Dave Meltzer, on Wrestling Observer Radio, called the delay "political jockeying" and said April 10 and 11 is "probably" the weekend. That is his view, not a WWE statement.
  • WWE has said WrestleMania 43 is in Riyadh in 2027. The April 10 and 11 dates have not been confirmed by WWE.

WWE did not announce dates for WrestleMania 43 at Crown Jewel on Saturday, Nov. 7, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Wrestling News Source reported on Nov. 8. NoDQ says the same. We did not watch the broadcast, and we found no report of a date announcement since.

What was expected

Our earlier rumor story carried a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select that WWE could name the dates at Crown Jewel, with April 10 and 11, 2027 assumed. That report also said the announcement could slip because of the conflict in the region. WrestleZone and ewrestling relayed it on Nov. 5 and 6.

What Meltzer said

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave his reading of the delay, as quoted by Wrestling News Source: "It's all political jockeying. You want to not confirm it until, especially now, because they don't have to sell tickets. So what's the point in confirming it months ahead?"

He also said: "They don't want it out and want to keep people guessing because obviously everyone expects Tony Khan to put on a competitive show head-to-head." Meltzer said April 10 and 11 is "probably when it's going to be." Wrestling News Source notes that his comments about a rival show are his assessment, not an announcement from AEW.

What is on the record

WWE and Riyadh Season announced on Sept. 12, 2025 that Riyadh will host WrestleMania 43 in 2027. Wrestling Noticias says WWE has since promoted it as a two-night April 2027 event. TKO's Mark Shapiro said on Nov. 4 that the show is not at risk. AEW referee Bryce Remsburg said talks are underway on AEW's plans for that weekend. No AEW event has been announced.

What to watch

A WWE announcement of dates. Survivor Series: WarGames is Saturday, Nov. 28, in Houston.
