What is being reported
SEScoops and Sportsnaut, writing on Nov. 5, relay the WrestleVotes report. They say those spoken to expect WWE to announce the date while it is in Saudi Arabia, and that a source pointed to April 10 and 11, 2027. The report adds that the announcement could be held off because of the conflict in the region, but that one source still expects it to happen during Crown Jewel one way or another. Sportsnaut says the dates line up with earlier reports. We could not read the Fightful Select original, which is for subscribers.
What we know for certain
- WWE and Saudi Arabia's Turki Alalshikh announced in September 2025 that WrestleMania 43 will be held in Riyadh. WWE has since said it will be a two-night show in April 2027, per Sportsnaut. It has not announced dates or a venue.
- Crown Jewel is Saturday, Nov. 7, at The Venue, also called ANB Arena, in Riyadh. ESPN lists coverage from 10 AM ET and the show at 12 PM ET.
- TKO President Mark Shapiro said on Nov. 4 that the risk to WrestleMania 43 is "extremely minimal." Read our Shapiro story.
- USA Today reported on Nov. 4 that WWE did not respond to its requests for comment on safety concerns in Saudi Arabia.
What would confirm or kill it
Dates announced by WWE at or around Crown Jewel would confirm it. A show that ends with no announcement, or different dates, would not match this report. If WWE announces, we will relabel this story and change the headline.
