WWE Books Raw and SmackDown Double Tapings in DC and Tampa
Summary: WWE will run live Raw and a taped SmackDown on Monday, Dec. 21, in Washington, D.C., and again on Monday, Dec. 28, in Tampa. Tickets for the D.C. show went on sale Nov. 6.
The quick version
- Dec. 21: live Raw on Netflix at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., with SmackDown taped after it for Christmas Day, per Fightful.
- Dec. 28: a second Raw and SmackDown double at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Fla., per Wrestling Attitude and WWE.com's listing.
- Both are billed as "Two Shows. One Night." and start at 6:30 PM local time, per WWE.com's event list.
WWE has scheduled two more Monday double tapings for the holidays. Raw and SmackDown will share Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Monday, Dec. 21, and Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida, on Monday, Dec. 28, per Fightful, Wrestling Attitude and WWE.com's event list. The Capital One Arena account posted the D.C. date on Nov. 2.
The two dates
Washington, D.C., Dec. 21. Raw will air live on Netflix. SmackDown will be taped afterward for USA Network and air on Friday, Dec. 25, per Fightful. Tickets went on sale Friday, Nov. 6, at 10 AM, with presales starting Nov. 5, per Wrestling Attitude.
Tampa, Dec. 28. WWE.com lists the same "Two Shows, One Night: RAW & SmackDown" format for Benchmark International Arena. Wrestling Attitude says it covers SmackDown for Friday, Jan. 1, 2027, and Gerweck.net says the same, adding that AEW Dynamite will go head-to-head with that SmackDown. We found no WWE statement on the Jan. 1 air date.
Both start at 6:30 PM local time, per WWE.com. Wrestling Attitude says WWE's holiday plan is meant to keep Christmas Day and New Year's Day from needing live shows. It does not quote WWE saying so, so we treat that as the outlet's reading.
Who is advertised
Wrestling Attitude lists these names for the D.C. show: Seth Rollins, Oba Femi, Liv Morgan, Sol Ruca, Penta and The Usos from Raw, and Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Trick Williams and Gunther from SmackDown. Advertised talent can change, and we have not confirmed the list on WWE's own page.
One more on the list
WWE.com also lists a "Two Shows, One Night: RAW & SmackDown" date on Monday, Nov. 23, at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas, at 4:30 PM. The listing does not say whether either show is live.
What to watch
Whether WWE names a Tampa lineup, and whether the Dec. 25 SmackDown carries a Christmas theme. Neither has been announced.
