According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, as relayed by WrestleZone and Wrestling Noticias, one source said the match type could fit into the WWE title picture. The report also said there is "no indication" that NXT Deadline's absence this year makes a main roster debut more likely. WrestleZone says WrestleVotes asked WWE about it after the Deadline news.
The Iron Survivor Challenge is a match where five competitors try to score the most falls in 25 minutes. It has been a feature of NXT Deadline. WWE announced on Oct. 31 that NXT TLC on Dec. 12 replaces Deadline this year.
