Chihiro Hashimoto announced that she will team with Jeff Cobb against the married couple of Shingo Takagi and Natsupoi at NJPW Bound for Unbound on Friday, Nov. 20, at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, according to Fightful. She made the announcement after defending her wXw Women's Championship against Anita Vaughan at a Sendai Girls' Pro-Wrestling event.
What is announced
- Jeff Cobb and Chihiro Hashimoto vs. Shingo Takagi and Natsupoi
- Drilla Moloney vs. Daiki Nagai
Fightful lists those two matches on the card as of its report on Nov. 3. We did not find an NJPW card page, so the lineup is probably not complete.
Why it stands out
Takagi and Cobb are both part of Unbound Co., the faction led by IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji. This match puts two of its members on opposite sides. Takagi is also set for an Unbound Deathmatch against Jon Moxley at Wrestle Kingdom 21 on Jan. 4, per Fightful and 411Mania. Hashimoto won her match with Vaughan, so she keeps the wXw Women's Championship, according to the Fightful report.
Stardom's schedule lists Nov. 20 as a date where it takes part in the NJPW show at Korakuen Hall. We did not find Stardom naming either woman for the show.
What we do not know
NJPW has not said who will work the other matches, whether the show will be on NJPW World, or what the start time is.
