Summary: AEW's Full Gear pay-per-view is Saturday, Nov. 14, in Phoenix. Six matches are set, including Ospreay vs. Fletcher and a Texas Death match for the trios titles.
The quick version
- Full Gear is Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, on pay-per-view.
- Six matches are set. The trios title match is Texas Death after champion Hangman Page gave in on Nov. 4.
- The Anarchy in the Arena match has no named participants yet.
AEW has six matches for Full Gear on Saturday, Nov. 14, in Phoenix, Arizona. The show is at the Mortgage Matchup Center, per POST Wrestling, and the newest change came on Wednesday's Dynamite, Nov. 4, when the trios title rematch was made a Texas Death match, Wrestling Inc. reported.
The card so far
- AEW World Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher
- AEW Women's World Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Marina Shafir
- AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks (c) vs. Mark Davis and Jake Doyle
- AEW World Trios Championship, Texas Death: Hangman Page, Brody King and Bandido (c) vs. Swerve Strickland, Kofi and Austin Creed
- AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship: The Brawling Birds (c) vs. Wrathlander (Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron)
- Anarchy in the Arena: The Death Riders vs. The Cut
How the matches came together
Moné vs. Shafir was confirmed on Collision's Fright Night episode, taped Oct. 28 in St. Louis, POST Wrestling reported. It followed a confrontation on Dynamite where Moné slapped Shafir several times. AEW's own post said Shafir "didn't flinch."
The trios match is a rematch from WrestleDream, where Page, King and Bandido won the titles in a two-out-of-three-falls match, per F4W Online. Strickland demanded Texas Death rules on Oct. 21. Page refused at first. On Nov. 4, after Bandido and Kofi brawled backstage and the two teams fought on the stage, Bandido told Page it was no longer only about him, and Page accepted, according to Wrestling Inc.
Solowrestling described the Nov. 4 Dynamite as also bringing an alliance between Jon Moxley and several members of The Conglomeration. Which wrestlers will be in the Anarchy in the Arena match has not been announced in the coverage we reviewed.
What is not on the card
The AEW National Championship match between Andrade El Idolo and Tommaso Ciampa is set for Saturday's Collision on Nov. 7, not Full Gear, Fightful reported.
What to watch
The Anarchy in the Arena lineup, and any last additions, with Full Gear now eight days away.
