TNA Injury Report: Jeff Hardy Out Indefinitely

Summary: TNA's injury report on the Nov. 5 Impact says Jeff Hardy is out indefinitely after the Slaughterhouse syX match, Avery Styles is under evaluation for an ankle injury and BDE is out with back and neck injuries.

The quick version

  • TNA said on the Nov. 5 Impact that Jeff Hardy is "being held out of action indefinitely" because of injuries from the syX Slaughterhouse Match.
  • Avery Styles is "under evaluation" after an ankle injury in his tag match that night.
  • BDE is "ruled out of action" with back and neck injuries from his match against Zer0.

TNA announced an injury report on Thursday Night Impact on Nov. 5 from the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama. It said Jeff Hardy is being held out of action indefinitely because of the severity of his injuries from the syX Slaughterhouse Match, according to TNA's results page. The report also covered Avery Styles and BDE.

What TNA said

  • Jeff Hardy: held out of action indefinitely, with injuries from the Slaughterhouse match against syX, Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw.
  • Avery Styles: under evaluation for an ankle injury from his match earlier in the show. Styles and Frankie Kazarian beat Hunter James and Alexander Lev in their tag team debut.
  • BDE: ruled out of action after injuries to his back and neck in a match against Zer0.

TNA did not give a return date for any of the three, and the page does not describe the injuries beyond that wording.

What it changes

The Slaughterhouse match was on the Oct. 29 show. Matt Hardy said on Nov. 5 that he will not forget what syX did to his brother, and he and Moose face syX at Destination X on Sunday, Nov. 15, in Edmonton, Alberta. TNA's page does not say whether Jeff Hardy is part of that match. We have no report that he is. Kazarian is also set to face Mustafa Ali in singles next week, according to TNA.

TNA has not said whether Styles will miss Destination X.
