What is being reported
According to Fightful's summary of the PWInsider report, "there are people backstage who believe Amore signed a new deal with WWE over the last week." The report says he is reportedly headed to NXT.
The report is about belief backstage. It does not say anyone has seen a contract.
Earlier reports
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer said last month, per F4W Online, "There was talk of Enzo in NXT. It was talked to me like it was pretty much a done deal," and that WWE would keep Amore and Big Cass apart. That was talk of plans, not a report of a signed deal.
WrestleVotes reported in early October that there is a feeling in WWE creative that the audience is waiting for Amore, which it said was affecting plans for Cass. Wrestling Headlines, citing Fightful Select, reported on Oct. 30 that no agreement had yet been reached.
What we know for certain
Big Cass returned to WWE on the Aug. 3 Raw, per Wrestling Headlines. We have not seen a WWE announcement, a WWE.com roster change or a post from Amore about a signing.
What would confirm or kill it
An announcement from WWE, an NXT appearance, or a post from Amore. If WWE or Amore confirms, we will relabel this story and change the headline. If it is wrong, we will say so here.
