El Hijo de Rey Misterio won a mask vs. mask match over Xtreme Tiger on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, at The Crash's 15th anniversary show at the Auditorio Municipal Fausto Gutierrez Moreno in Tijuana. F4W Online, Wrestling Noticias and Marca reported it on Nov. 7 and 8. Misterio is the cousin of WWE's Rey Mysterio.
The match
Marca says both men used tables, chairs and thumbtacks, and that Misterio won with a "Mayan Sacrifice." Dave Meltzer, on Wrestling Observer Radio as quoted by F4W, said Misterio hit Tiger with a beer bottle and a couple of moves before the pin. Meltzer said he saw only the finish. He also said the finish "wasn't super hot" and that most people wanted Tiger to win.
F4W, citing El Imparcial, says more than 5,000 people were there. Marca says the rivalry grew after the group La Familia de Tijuana broke up.
The fan
While Tiger waited to unmask, a fan got past security and onto the apron. Wrestling Noticias says he hit Misterio twice in the stomach. Misterio did nothing at first, then punched him. The fan fell out of the ring and stayed down for a few minutes. WrestlingHeadlines calls the first contact a slap. We have not seen the video ourselves, so we use the common detail: a strike to the stomach, then one punch back.
Medical staff checked the fan and security took him out of the building, Wrestling Noticias says. The unmasking went ahead. The reason for the fan's actions is unclear. Marca says he was upset that Tiger lost, but gives no source for that, and Wrestling Noticias says the reason is unclear. We have not named him and have no word on his condition.
The unmasking
Tiger gave his name as Leon Sereno Estrada. F4W and Marca say he is 45. Ringside News says 44, with 28 years in the business. Ringside News also says he told the crowd Rey Misterio Sr. was the man who debuted him in Tijuana. Marca says he wrestled in TNA as Tigre Uno and won titles in AAA. We have not checked either claim.
