Final recap

Tommaso Ciampa beat Andrade El Idolo to win the AEW National Championship in the main event of AEW Collision on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, aboard the Norwegian Jewel in Miami. FTR also tied their best-of-five series with the Motor City Machine Guns at 2-2.

Biggest moment. Ciampa ended Andrade's reign in a rematch from WrestleDream. Referee Aubrey Edwards was knocked down, and Andrade hit The DM while she was out, so no count came. Ciampa answered with a low blow and a running knee for a near fall. Andrade kicked out and fired back, and rain was falling on the ring when Ciampa countered another DM into a roll-up for the three-count. It was the only title change on the show.

Results

  • Chris Jericho beat Blake Christian by submission with the Walls of Jericho.
  • FTR beat the Motor City Machine Guns in match 4 of their series. Dax Harwood rolled up Alex Shelley while Shelley chased Stokely Hathaway. The series is 2-2.
  • Nick Wayne beat Marcus Mathers with Wayne's World (added to the card).
  • The Death Riders beat Shane Taylor Promotions when Gabe Kidd pinned Carlie Bravo with a fisherman buster (added to the card).
  • Persephone beat Mina Shirakawa with a frog splash. Queen Aminata made the save afterward.
  • Ciampa beat Andrade El Idolo (c) to win the AEW National Championship (new champion).

After the bell. Mercedes Mone and The Cut attacked Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, and Jay White hit Moxley with the Blade Runner. A later backstage segment said Juice Robinson was in the hospital. No outlet we read reports a real injury.

What is next. Full Gear is Saturday, Nov. 14, in Phoenix, Arizona. Kazuchika Okada defends the AEW International Championship against Adam Copeland, and FTR and the Guns meet in match 5. A three-hour Dynamite and Collision special follows on Wednesday, Nov. 11, with Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher face to face and a mixed tag, Mercedes Mone and Jay White against Marina Shafir and Moxley.

Our view (opinion). A new National champion a week before Full Gear and a 2-2 series both give AEW something to sell. We followed the show through other outlets' reports and did not watch it, so we are not rating the matches.

The 10:23 PM main event result was first stamped 10:12 PM, which was our estimate. Wrestling Inc.'s live blog posted the finish at 10:23 PM ET, so the entry now carries that time. The 10:01 PM entry said New Level and BRODIDO would meet face to face. POST Wrestling, TPWW and the Wrestling Observer report a match, so that entry is fixed. The 9:55 PM entry now says that outlets differ on who said the Juice Robinson hospital line.

Wrestling Noticias says his first was the TNT Championship, won in his AEW debut match on Jan. 31 and lost 11 days later to Kyle Fletcher. TPWW says it is his first AEW National Championship. Andrade El Idolo won the title at Redemption on July 26, per Wikipedia and 411Mania. Wrestling Noticias says his reign ended at 104 days, and Sportskeeda says 105. The one-day gap is most likely a difference in counting.

Note

Collision is over: six matches, one title change

Six matches were held and none was cancelled. Nick Wayne vs. Marcus Mathers and the Death Riders vs. Shane Taylor Promotions were added when the show went on the air. Tommaso Ciampa won the AEW National Championship from Andrade El Idolo, the only title change. The final results and recap are at the top of this page.

Note

Correction: Mathers' debut wording, Andrade's reign length and Jericho's hold

The 8:56 PM entry said Wrestling Inc. calls the Wayne match Marcus Mathers' AEW debut. It now also says that Sportskeeda calls it his first in-ring match on Collision and reports that he wrestled Mark Davis in ROH days earlier. The 10:58 PM entry gave Andrade's reign as 104 days from one outlet. It now also gives Sportskeeda's 105 days. Outlets also name Jericho's finishing hold two ways, Walls of Jericho (Wrestling Inc., TPWW) and Liontamer (Wrestle Purists, Gerweck.net).
