It appears a WWE Superstar has gotten his name back.
Earlier this year, Mustafa Ali had his name shortened to just “Ali”. This has been a recent practice in WWE, with many superstars getting their names shortened. A few of these stars have had their names restored such as Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, and Ali appears to have joined that short list.
Ali tweeted that his name is now Mustafa Ali, and his WWE superstar profile has been changed to reflect this as well. Mustafa Ali has been a featured part of WWE since moving to the main roster from 205 Live, and recently had a special done on him from CBS.
