Mickie James’ in-ring career could be winding down, reports PWInsider.com.
James underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL in July and did commentary for this week’s WWE Main Event tapings. There is talk of her transitioning into a backstage role as a producer.
James remains an official member of the SmackDown roster. After she had surgery, it was estimated she would be out of action for seven to nine months. She was injured on June 1st and it was the first major surgery of her two-decade career.
