Independent wrestler Candy Cartwright took to Twitter on Friday to share her assault allegations against WWE star Matt Riddle as part of the #SpeakingOut movement.

In response to these allegations, WWE issued the same statement for the Matt Riddle case as they did for Jordan Devlin:
“We take any allegation of this nature very seriously and are looking into the matter.”
In wake of this matter being investigated, WWE may have scrapped Matt Riddle’s in-ring debut for tonight’s SmackDown. The official preview for his arrival has been removed from the SmackDown preview on dot com, but that doesn’t mean his appearance won’t air after all.
4:15pm ET Update: WWE has now added Riddle’s blurb back to the preview. Rumor has it that Riddle’s segment involves a top SmackDown star, so it’s unlikely his appearance will be edited out.
