Shane McMahon returned to WWE TV this week and brought with him the debut of Raw Underground.
This new concept appears to be a backstage fight club where fighters will face off with each other in a rope-less ring until the other can no longer continue. Not much was said about this new concept except there are no rules and anything goes.
There were many fresh faces fighting in the ring, as well as WWE Superstars Dolph Ziggler and Erik of the Viking Raiders. Both superstars picked up a win, but it remains to be seen what these fighters are fighting for. At the end of the show the group known as The Hurt Business decided to hijack the concept and the show went off the air as Bobby Lashley, MVP and Shelton Benjamin stood tall.
Richard has more information about Raw Underground as well as some notes from tonight’s show, including Seth Rollins opponent for WWE SummerSlam.
