WWE Backlash 2020 Results – Who Won The Greatest Match Ever?

Welcome to WrestlePages.com’s live coverage of WWE Backlash 2020. Below are quick match results from the show:

United States Championship Kickoff Match: Apollo Crews (c) def. Andrade. Kevin Owens was on commentary and kept Angel Garza from interfering at the end. It was enough to distract Andrade, allowing Crews to retain.

Women’s Tag Team Championship: Sasha Banks & Bayley (c) def. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross and The IIconics. The action was fast and furious with Banks rolling up Bliss for the win.

Sheamus def. Jeff Hardy. This one was as physical as expected with both of them getting in their usual spots. Hardy nearly had it won, but Sheamus pulled out the Brogue Kick to secure the victory.

Raw Women’s Championship: Asuka (c) vs. Nia Jax ended in double count-out after they took their brawl outside the ring.

Universal Championship Handicap Match: Braun Strowman (c) def. John Morrison & The Miz via pinfall. Miz pulled Morrison from covering Strowman for selfish reasons, which set up Strowman power slamming Morrison for the win.

WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre (c) def. Bobby Lashley via pinfall. The physicality was turned up all the way from bell to bell. Lana marched out to claim the ref cheated, only for Bobby to accidentally knock her off onto MVP. McIntyre hit the Claymore for the win.

The Street Profits vs. The Viking Raiders turned out to be a cinematic brawl in the parking lot that involved Akira Tozawa leading a group of ninja bikers. Their brawl ended in a dumpster where an alligator seemingly chased them off.

Greatest Wrestling Match Ever: Randy Orton def. Edge via pinfall. This was a 45-minute brawl with Orton using the punt for the victory.
