Which Places WWE Has Considered Moving To After Amway Center Departure

WWE will be departing from the ThunderDome as the Orlando Magic require the Amway Center for their playoffs. The production crew is expected to start making the move on December 5th, but it seems the company has not yet decided which place they will call their new home.

WWE is looking at various venues for a new home to the ThunderDome. They do not intend on choosing a venue where a pro sports team will move them out. The COVID-19 pandemic and each state’s separate opening do not help matters either.

According to a report by PWInsider, WWE has yet to determine a proper place for their eventual move. For the time being locations in Florida, Texas, Illinois and others are being considered.

“There is no current confirmed plan for WWE’s next move but we are told the company has looked into venues in several states to host the ThunderDome going forward, including Florida, Texas and Illinois, among others.”

Editor’s note: Sources close to WrestlingNews.com have heard Tampa come up as the next location for Raw and SmackDown once the Amway Center deal is up. Amalie Arena could be set up as the next ThunderDome, or there’s a chance the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater could be utilized in a similar manner as AEW at Daily’s Place with a limited paid audience.
