NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2019 Predictions

Here are your WarGames predictions for tonight’s event!

Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox and Mia Yim vs. Shayna Baszler, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, and Kay Lee Ray

Jason – I am going Team Shayna here. She and those on her team have major momentum and pushes going into the match. I expect a great, physical match here with lots of close finishes.

Nicholas – This match is really all about Rhea vs Shayna. Yet, expect all superstars to go out there and give it everything they’ve got in this historic match. In the end Rhea Ripley pins Shayna Baszler to setup the next title match.

The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong) vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic, and TBA

Jason – Team Ciampa will pick up the win here in a very tough match. I think the surprise entrant is going to be Matt Hardy based on comments he has been making on Twitter the past few weeks.

Nicholas – This is the third NXT men’s war games match and the third time that the Undisputed Era has participated. There is stull a mystery member for Team Ciampa to be announced but I don’t think it matters. Cole and UE move on but with bigger targets on their backs.

Matt Riddle vs. Finn Bálor

Jason – Finn picks up this victory in order to push him even further as a heel. He needs something major to happen because not everyone is sold on the idea of him being a heel. The fans are still mixed about him.

Nicholas – Finn battles The Bro in what will be the most interesting match this weekend. Expect a fast paced match between these two, with a chance of a massive spot. In the end the past is revived with a Balor win.

Pete Dunne vs. Killian Dain vs. Damian Priest for #1 Contender at Survivor Series

Jason – I am going with Killian Dain here as a wild guess. All 3 deserve a shot at the title on Sunday and this should be a close match as well.

Nicholas – These three guys just don’t like each other. These will be a hard hitting, intense and physical matchup with a chance to take on Adam Cole the next night. The Archer gets a signature win and faces Cole.
