Is Andrade leaving WWE?
Andrade was not drafted in the 2020 WWE Draft. He made headlines when he tweeted “Thank you” on Monday morning, which left fans speculating on his future. Andrade’s real-life fiancée Charlotte Flair tweeted he was thanking Zelina Vega and now he needs a new manager. From what we understand, he will remain on Raw moving forward. While he would surely enjoy a pairing with Charlotte, we have not heard of any such plan as of press time.
How is Lars Sullivan still with WWE? Shouldn’t he be wearing an ankle bracelet by now?
Lars Sullivan headlines the list for controversial WWE superstars. There are several with questionable histories that make fans wonder why they still have contracts. All I can say is Sullivan has the support of Vince McMahon, who wants him to be at the very least an upper midcard talent. At one point he wanted him to be a top star. We will see how it goes but as long as Sullivan has Vince’s support, he is not going anywhere.
Why are new Raw stars such as Braun Strowman competing on this week’s episode of SmackDown?
WWE loaded up this week’s SmackDown and next week’s Raw as they are promoted as the respective “season premieres.” Because the draft was ongoing when the items were announced, the company made the decision to have crossover matches. Braun Strowman will challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship on Friday and Keith Lee at Raw next Monday. This is poor logic and one of the most frustrating things about the brand extension. Superstars should never cross-over if WWE is serious about promoting different brands but the rules are forgotten in the name of ratings.
Is Raw Underground over? Why did we not get a Mustafa Ali promo on Raw as advertised?
Raw Underground was once again absent from Raw. We could blame it on time constraints or we could speculate the feature has ended. At this point we will blame the former as this is why Mustafa Ali’s advertised segment was nixed. Raw Underground is a unique concept but I highly doubt it would work with a live crowd in attendance. The latest episodes of SmackDown and Raw were all about the Draft as WWE was focused on shaking up their rosters for at least the next calendar year.
