Two Of Ring Of Honor’s Top Stars Facing Expiring Contracts

Marty Scurll’s contract with Ring of Honor expires in November, per Sports Illustrated.

Scurll, a top name with ROH, is scheduled to compete in a 4-Corner Survival bout at the promotion’s show in Chicago on Saturday. That bout also includes Kenny King, Dalton Castle and Colt Cabana.

It’s unknown if Scurll would have interest from either WWE or AEW but it is worth noting he was a staple of the Young Bucks’ “Being The Elite” YouTube show.

Previous speculation had insisted Scurll’s contract was up before that of Matt Taven, which isn’t the case. The current ROH World Champion’s contract is set to expire some time this month, per PWInsider. He’s also on Saturday’s card in a title match against CMLL’s Volador Jr.

ROH will look to lock up their top names but will most likely face competition. Sports Illustrated reached out to Taven and Scurll for comment but neither responded.
