Triple H went on The Pat McAfee Show today to talk up the segment between McAfee and WWE NXT Superstar Adam Cole on the show last week.
As CJ reported earlier, Cole issued an apology Monday on Twitter.
Hunter essentially confirmed the blow-up as a work (sorry, Mark). Triple H stated Adam was being a “little overly sensitive” and Pat was a professional button pusher who needles people for a living. He said he did not ask for Cole to put out an apology and he is a grown man responsible for his own actions.
Triple H then invited McAfee to NXT. He stated they could meet in private but if McAfee wants, they could do something on the show and they will promote him just like they always have. McAfee revealed he does plan to come to Florida soon after he gets married on Saturday.
