Top ROH Wrestler Won’t Leave For WWE Or AEW

Former ROH Champion Matt Taven announced at the Death Before Dishonor television taping he’ll remain with Ring of Honor.

According to Mike Johnson, Taven’s contract was set to expire on Oct. 1 but he and ROH agreed to an extension last week.

Taven, 34, has been with ROH since 2010 and held several of their titles. His re-signing was a priority as he’s been of their central figures over the last year. WWE and AEW were reportedly interested in signing him if he hit free agency.
