For a long time now fans have been wondering whether All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling would agree to a partnership. Earlier, it was unlikely the two would work together. As reported earlier, Harold Meiji’s departure from NJPW made it possible for a partnership. Now there is more positive news for a future partnership.
Tony Khan gave a comment to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter regarding Meiji’s departure from NJPW. While they are unsure what to expect, it seems the ”forbidden door” might finally open.
“I’m not sure yet. But my initial gut feeling is it could be good.”
It was also noted that some NJPW Stars believed Meiji had no business sense when it came to professional wrestling.
