# Rumor: Iceman's TNA Deal Reportedly Runs Through 2026

This is a rumor and it is not confirmed, and it disputes an earlier rumor we ran. On Nov. 7, Fightful reported that George Iceman's TNA contract has not expired and runs through the end of 2026. That is the opposite of what PWInsider reported on Nov. 6. TNA has not said anything that we could find.

## What is being reported

Fightful (Corey Brennan, Nov. 7) says the contract "is yet to expire despite recent speculation, with the deal running until the end of 2026." It says PWInsider reported on Nov. 6 that Iceman had left TNA and his role as a manager for The Elegance Brand. Fightful adds: "it appears that he has yet to exit the company, contrary to that report." The detail on the contract is credited to Fightful Select. The public post has no quote from Iceman or TNA.

## How the two reports compare

PWInsider, per Fightful, said Iceman departed and that there was interest in him elsewhere. Wrestling Inc, relaying PWInsider, said the sides did not agree on a new deal. Fightful's report does not say Iceman has been on recent shows, and it does not say whether a new deal is being discussed. A deal that runs to the end of the year can still leave him off TV, so the two reports are not fully settled by this one.

## What we know for certain

Nothing new from TNA or Iceman. Fightful's earlier story noted he had not been on recent episodes. We have not contacted TNA.

## What would confirm or kill it

A TNA statement, a post from Iceman, or his return to a TNA show would back Fightful. An appearance for another promotion would back PWInsider.
