> Real American Freestyle said Nov. 5 it has reached an agreement to acquire World of Wrestling, the youth tournament company behind Tulsa Nationals, Reno Worlds and the Kickoff Classic. No price or closing date was given.

## The quick version

- RAF announced the agreement on Nov. 5. It is an agreement to acquire, not a completed sale.
- World of Wrestling runs Tulsa Nationals, Reno Worlds and the Kickoff Classic.
- No price, ownership split, closing date or rule changes have been disclosed.

Real American Freestyle (RAF), the pro freestyle wrestling league, said on Thursday, Nov. 5, that it has reached an agreement to acquire World of Wrestling. That company runs three well-known youth tournaments: Tulsa Nationals, Reno Worlds and the Kickoff Classic. The source is RAF's own post, which PWInsider carried the same day.

## What RAF said

In a post on X, RAF wrote: "RAF has reached an agreement to acquire World of Wrestling, home of Tulsa Nationals, Reno Worlds and the Kickoff Classic." It credited the Roller family with building something "generations of wrestlers carry with them" and said it is "excited to work alongside them."

## What the announcement does not say

MiddleEasy's review of the statement points out what is missing. It does not give a purchase price, an ownership share, a completion date or any change to tournament rules. It also does not add new dates or registration conditions. We found no further statement from World of Wrestling or the Roller family in the coverage we reviewed.

## The tournaments

World of Wrestling traces its events to 1979, according to MiddleEasy. These dates were already on the company's own calendar, as reported by MiddleEasy, and are not new:

- Kickoff Classic: Nov. 20 to 22, 2026 (the 30th annual)
- Tulsa Nationals: Jan. 14 to 17, 2027 (the 72nd annual)
- National Youth Duals: March 5 to 7, 2027
- Reno Worlds: April 1 to 4, 2027

World of Wrestling says its events average 9,000 wrestlers and 30,000 fans from more than 45 states. Those are the company's own figures, per MiddleEasy.

## Why it matters

World of Wrestling's business is youth competition, not the professional crossover cards RAF is known for, MiddleEasy notes. RAF already has a youth side of its own: MiddleEasy says it advertises a Next Gen competition on Nov. 27 in Schaumburg, Illinois, the day before its Nov. 28 professional card.

## What to watch

Whether the deal closes, and whether RAF or World of Wrestling announces any changes to the 2027 tournaments.
