## Why it stands out

Syuri will make her sixth defense of the IWGP Women's title, per Monthly Puroresu. WrestlePurists reports it is the first time the belt has been defended in Mexico. Monthly Puroresu adds that Kira is fresh off a run of more than 900 days as Mexican National Women's Tag Team Champion with Skadi, and that it is Syuri's first appearance in Mexico since 2015.

Tsuji is NJPW's IWGP Heavyweight Champion and is set to face Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 21 on Jan. 4. He wrestles for MLW on Nov. 7, nine days before this show.

## Where to watch

The Rio Times says no U.S. broadcast or stream has been confirmed and advises checking CMLL's YouTube channel and NJPW World a few days before the show. Tickets are sold at the arena box office and through Ticketmaster Mexico.
