AEW's Chris Jericho will star in a new creature horror film called I Am the Teeth, Deadline reported exclusively on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Jericho plays a "mysterious and ruthless bounty hunter" known as The Hunter, according to Deadline. First reported by Deadline.

## What Deadline reported

Epic Pictures Group is introducing the film to international buyers at the American Film Market in Los Angeles. Deadline's story ran on Nov. 3 and put that meeting "next week." We have not checked the market's dates ourselves.

Hope Jordan plays Mae, and Thomas Parobek is also in the cast. J.R. Curtis wrote the script with Scott B. Hansen and Desiree Hansen, per Deadline. Wrestling Inc says Hansen directs.

The story follows five middle schoolers who look for a lost pet and trap a werewolf. They find that the creature is a young woman who vanished more than a decade ago. A relentless bounty hunter, played by Jericho, then comes after her.

## What Jericho said

Jericho told Deadline he has "always been a huge horror fan." He said the film has "scary monsters, gory kills, a clever storyline and plenty of twists." He compared it to The Goonies and Silver Bullet. His earlier horror credits include the Terrifier films, per Deadline.

## Timing

Wrestling Inc reports, citing Deadline, that select scenes will be shown to buyers and that production of the rest of the film is planned for the start of 2027. We did not find a release date.
