– The Dec. 18th episode will feature Rhea Ripley vs. Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship, plus the winner of next week’s triple threat vs. Adam Cole for the NXT Championship.

– Kassius Ohno returned to NXT TV after working NXT UK for the last several months. Ohno lost to Matt Riddle.

– Kushida returned from injury with a win over Cameron Grimes.

– Mauro Ranallo officially returned to commentary after being on hiatus since TakeOver: WarGames last month.

– This week’s dark matches saw the returning Joaquin Wilde defeat Chase Parker, while Kayden Carter defeated Jessi Kamea.
