Several Bouts Confirmed For NJPW’s New Japan Road Tour

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced multiple matches for their New Japan Road tour that begins on September 3, 2020.

• IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito will team with Shingo, Takagi and SANADA to face EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi and Jado on September 5th and September 6th.
• The promotion will hold a four-team round robin tournament to crown new IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champions. Participants include Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato, Taiji Ishimori & Gedo, Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI, and El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru. The finals will take place on September 11, 2020 at Korakuen Hall.
• Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI will defend the NEVER Six-Man Tag Team Championship against Kazuchika Okada, Toru Yano, and SHO on September 11, 2020.

New Japan Road is the final tour before the G1 Climax.
