Rocky Johnson (birth name Wayde Douglas Bowles), the father of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has passed away at the age of 75.
Wayde was born in Nova Scotia on August 24th, 1944. Wayde changed his legal name to Rocky Johnson when he started his wrestling career in 1964.
He became WWF Team Tag Champion in 1983 with Tony Atlas. In 2008, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by The Rock.
