Former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Angel Garza debuted on Monday Night Raw this week.
Garza appeared alongside Zelina Vega to provoke his real-life cousin, Humberto Carrillo. This was done to continue Carrillo’s storyline with United States Champion Andrade while Andrade is serving a 30-day suspension.
Garza ended up facing Rey Mysterio, but lost by disqualification.
There’s no word yet on if Garza will remain on Raw going forward. There has been an increase in presence from NXT stars on the red brand in recent months from the likes of Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green and Riddick Moss.
