It is not rare for a Superstar in WWE to get their name changed all of a sudden. It seems that is exactly what happened as the company has changed the name of a recently-signed NXT Superstar prior to their debut.
According to a report by Fightful Select, WWE has changed the name of recently signed superstar Anthony Greene. As seen on this week’s NXT, Greene is now going to go by the name August Grey.
It was also said that Curt Stallion’s name will not be changed.
“Anthony Greene’s new on-screen name was announced as Austin Grey or August Grey. Curt Stallion appears to be using his Curt Stallion name.”
Austin Grey and Curt Stallion had a strong showing in the independent circuit, especially in EVOLVE before they signed with WWE.
