New SmackDown Writer Found Asleep In Writers Room

TheWrap.com reports the perceived lack of direction at SmackDown is the reason for the recent changes to the WWE creative team.

There is a lot of pressure on the writers right now with expectations being very high for the brand with the upcoming moving to FOX.

While changes are underway, TheWrap.com reports new hire Stevie Long, a former Sons of Anarchy writer brought in by Eric Bischoff, was recently found asleep in the writers room by Michael Hayes. Bischoff declined to comment but Dave Meltzer verified it as accurate.

As of now, Long remains employed by WWE.
