Vince McMahon was seen laughing at the chants that closed out WWE Hell in a Cell, according to multiple sources.
Fans were chanting things like “AEW,” “bullshit” and “restart the match.” Some believed Vince was just trying to mask his anger, while others believe he genuinely thought it was funny. The latest word is that McMahon recognizes the ending to Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt was negatively received and they should have went in another direction.
Bray Wyatt was not medically cleared to compete at RAW but Seth Rollins was deemed healthy. The belief is Rollins wasn’t used so that WWE could distance itself from the match and avoid the chants from happening again.
Rollins has taken a good amount of heat for the match ending on social media. Wyatt was not seriously injured and should return soon.
Yesterday, we detailed an alternative ending for the match that was pitched and not used. You can read about that here on WrestlePages.com.
