Kurt Angle appeared on this week’s SmackDown in a backstage segment to announce that Matt Riddle is headed to the blue brand.

Riddle’s move to Raw or SmackDown was heavily rumored over the last week. Angle confirmed that Riddle’s Fight Pit match against Timothy Thatcher on Wednesday was indeed his last NXT match.
There’s no word yet on when The Original Bro will make his SmackDown debut, but it could come as soon as next Friday’s show.
