Latest On Mauro Ranallo’s Future With WWE

Mauro Ranallo is expected to return to the WWE NXT broadcast team on next week’s episode on the USA Network.

As CJ noted earlier here on WrestlePages.com, Ranallo was replaced by Tom Phillips on last night’s show. Ranallo has now missed two shows he was scheduled to work (last night’s NXT and Survivor Series) over a tweet sent out by Corey Graves during the airing of WWE NXT: TakeOver WarGames. The tweet was as follows:

https://twitter.com/WWEGraves/status/1198414519556562944

It’s well documented that Ranallo suffers from bipolar disorder and he deactivated his Twitter account after learning of the tweet. WWE sources are now indicating Graves wrote it to play into the brand warfare element of Survivor Series. Apparently, he planned to mention it the next night on the pay-per-view while sitting next to Ranallo.

Graves has apologized.
