Latest On Changes To WWE NXT With Move To USA Network

WWE’s new television deal to bring NXT to the USA Network is a two-year pact worth approximately $30 million per year, according to Dave Meltzer.

There were previous rumored figures that suggested WWE was making as much as $50 million per year under the deal.

The big question heading into next month is what changes will be made to NXT as it moves to cable television. The current word is that Vince McMahon will remain hands-off because he’s already too busy, especially with the upcoming relaunch of the XFL. However, some believe if viewership is disappointing or if they are beaten by AEW on TNT, he could look to get involved.

As of now, NXT talent stand to make more money as their contracts are expected to be restructured to deals similar to what talent are making for RAW and SmackDown.
