Lance Storm tweeted this morning he is now officially unemployed for the first time since November 1994.
“For what it’s worth I am now officially unemployed. First time since I left SMW in Nov. 1994,” Storm tweeted followed by a #FutureEndeavors hashtags
Storm was one of many producers and talents furloughed by WWE in April in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Storm had returned to WWE in November 2019 after shutting down the Storm Wrestling Academy.
Chris Jericho, who is close friends with Storm, advocated for his re-hiring. Jericho tweeted:
“In this biz? That’s a hell of a run! Now @WWE and @VinceMcMahon need to pull their heads out of their collective asses and re-hire you! #lanceisagenius”
