Anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling. Two rival promotions who were once not on good terms can mend fences and have a good working relationship again. It seems that is what happened with NJPW and Impact.
The two promotions have worked in the past. NJPW were still reportedly upset over Impact Wrestling’s treatment of Kazuchika Okada back when they were TNA. Now it seems the two companies are trying to rebuild their working relationship.
According to a report by Fightful, Rocky Romero and Karl Anderson are hopeful regarding the future between NJPW and Impact Wrestling. Anderson said that he feels “by summer of next year some big things will have happened there.”
Anderson and Gallows are on good terms with Gedo. Romero also said that Chris Bey working the Super J Cup is significant. It was said that Impact Wrestling and NJPW “are friendlier than they’ve been in a long time.”
