Joe Belcastro, who was working as the head writer of WWE NXT, has departed the company.
Johnny Russo and Gabe Sapolsky have gained influence as a result. Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Sapolsky continue as the key creative personnel on the NXT creative team.
Belcastro left WWE on good terms and is welcome to come back should it interest him later. For now, he’ll pursue opportunities outside of the wrestling business.
