A few former NXT UK stars made their mark on this week’s NXT.
Toni Storm turned heel on Ember Moon and aligned herself with Team Candice for TakeOver: War Games. This is Storm’s first heel run in WWE, which now sets up potential feuds with Moon and/or NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai.

Zack Gibson and James Drake, known as the Grizzled Young Veterans, returned with a surprise attack on Ever-Rise in the ring. The former NXT UK Tag Team Champions joined the main NXT brand earlier this year before the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to return overseas.
