Did you think Shawn Michaels was disrespectful for not selling Randy Orton’s punt kick more on Raw?
I saw where Velvet Sky said it was very disrespectful and her boyfriend Bully Ray was not happy with it either. Apparently Lio Rush tweeted something as well, but it appears that tweet is no longer online. Quite honestly, he could have sold it more but it was fine. We can nitpick all day but HBK appeared dazed and even on his feet, did not appear unfazed. Maybe he should have stayed down but I don’t think it hurt Randy in the slightest. Furthermore, I do not think Shawn was trying to be disrespectful with the spot.
What is known about the virtual fan experience in the new WWE ThunderDome?
WWE opened up applications for the first show on Friday’s SmackDown and they went quick. WWE wants to make sure participants do not share their link, are respectful, refrain from smoking or making political statements, are not offensive, do not promote third party brands or make disparaging the company and/or its sponsors. You also have to be 18 years of age or older.
What is WWE’s reaction of former talent signing with AEW or legends going over there for one shots? Eric Bischoff is one that comes to mind.
In the beginning, WWE was very aggressive about keeping talent out of AEW. Now, they have loosened the reigns, especially in response to cuts associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Vince McMahon is going to go hard at any competitor; just look at how he has pitted WWE NXT up against AEW Dynamite. However, as far as hard feelings are concerned, this is a business. If WWE does not have a talent under contract and they are not locked in a non-compete, the talent is free and clear to do what they want. Sure there can be hard feelings but it does not automatically mean they will never be welcomed back. Eric Bischoff was released from WWE and can do what he wants. Jim Ross has had an on again/off again relationship with Vince McMahon but from what I understand, even they still exchange text messages.
What is the response in the WWE locker room regarding Vince McMahon’s strong support for United States President Donald Trump.
The WWE locker room is just like the rest of the world. You have people who like Donald Trump and you have people who do not like him. Back when he was involved with the company, a lot of people liked him. Now that he is President, there are obviously supporters and detractors. It is well known that Vince McMahon is close friends with Trump and his wife, Linda McMahon, is the Chairwoman of a pro-Trump Super PAC. She also served as the Administer of Small Business Administration for the Trump administration from 2017 and 2019. Politics are not something that are really discussed backstage. It is just like any other workplace, everyone is there to do a job.
