Aleister Black underwent a slight gimmick change a few months ago as he turned heel, sporting an eyepatch. He had a brief feud with Kevin Owens and is currently waiting for his next program.
It was reported earlier that Aleister Black requested he be moved to WWE NXT. However, WWE did not allow him to move. Apparently, it was not a direct rejection but WWE simply ignored the request entirely.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was said that “he didn’t directly ask and get turned down, but he did float the idea around and nobody seemed interested when he did so.”
