After a lot of hard work, Cody Rhodes was able to get his name back after WWE cancelled their trademark on his name. However, it seems he might not be using his name at all on in AEW.
During a media conference to promote Full Gear, Cody Rhodes was asked regarding him getting his name back. While he is certainly happy to have his last name back, he has no intention of ever using it for professional wrestling-related events.
He revealed that he got his name back so that he could use it in third party projects. He will be known as Cody Rhodes in projects that have nothing to do with AEW such as The Go Big Show.
He also said that there are no hard feelings between himself and WWE.
