Chris Jericho was banged up coming out of his match against Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14 on Sunday.
Jericho told Jim Valley of the Wrestling Observer after the show he planned on getting checked out once he returned to the United States. He claimed his jaw was dislocated and his knee was swollen. At least one of the injuries was a result of some of the dragon screws.
Jericho, the current AEW World Champion, will likely be facing Jon Moxley at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view on February 29. Hopefully heβs not dealing with anything major.
Valley also noted that Tanahashi limp away from the press room but he may very well have just been selling.
