Dave Meltzer is reporting that Cain Velasquez’s next WWE match will take place at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Jan. 26th in Houston, TX.
There’s no word on what his role will be, though there’s obviously speculation on either a rubber match against Brock Lesnar or an appearance in the 30-man Royal Rumble match.
Velasquez last competed on television at Crown Jewel nearly two months ago before working a WWE live event in Mexico on Nov. 30th.
