Paul Heyman wants to give Cedric Alexander a slow push to the top of the ladder, according to Dave Meltzer. Alexander is one of several RAW superstars who Heyman wants to give a slow push to the top rung.
As noted here on WrestlePages.com last month, Alexander has spoken publicly about Heyman working with him on his mic work and getting his character over with the fans. Heyman feels Cedric has great in-ring work but just needs help in projecting himself to the fans.
Alexander is scheduled to challenge AJ Styles for the WWE United States Championship at Sunday’s Clash of the Champions pay-per-view. Regardless of what happens in that match or if Alexander is booked to go under, his push is scheduled to continue.
