Updating an earlier item regarding the stolen AEW World Championship belt, the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) have recovered the title, according to Jeffrey Burlew.
Burlew reports someone turned it in to TPD headquarters after finding it along the side of the road. The belt was valued at nearly $30,000. No arrests have been made and investigators are asking anyone with information to call them at (850) 891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
Burlew also posted a heavily redacted police report of the alleged theft of the AEW World title belt, with Chris Jericho as the victim. It states the belt was taken around 5:30 PM Sunday but was reported stolen nearly two hours later. LongHorn Steakhouse is listed as the location of occurrence.

It should be noted that AEW’s original tweet thanking law enforcement has since been deleted.
