AEW will provide an update on Cody’s condition on the next episode of Dynamite.
“We will have an update on the condition of @CodyRhodes this Thursday, August 27th at 8/7c on #AEWDynamite,” the promotion tweeted.
For those that missed it, Mr. Brodie Lee beat Cody for the AEW TNT Championship on this week’s show. It was a squash match as Lee beat Cody with ease, hitting a discus lariat to win the title. After the match, Dark Order prevented Cody from getting medical help. He was loaded onto a stretcher but was dumped off. Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall came out for the save but were also attacked.
Brandi Rhodes laid herself across her husband but was choked out by Anna Jay.
Lee closed the show by pouring the remnants of the former TNT title over Cody.
Due to the NBA Playoffs, AEW Dynamite will air on Thursday on TNT at 8 PM ET.
