AEW Dynamite Results (9/2/20) – Go-Home To All Out

Below are complete results from the final Dynamite before All Out 2020:

Excalibur is back on Dynamite commentary after returning to call Dark last week.

Santana & Ortiz def. Best Friends in the opening match. Santana went over Trent via pinfall after some heel tactics.

The Young Bucks & Jurassic Express def. SCU & Private Party. The Bucks scored the pinfall on Marq Quen. As a result, Matt & Nick will face Jurassic Express at All Out on Saturday. Post-match, the Bucks walked out on celebrating with their partners turned opponents.

Kenny Omega is out in the ring for an interview until FTR and Tully interrupt. They have a cooler and offer Kenny a couple beers. Page comes out, but FTR continue ragging on both of them. FTR tease leaving with their titles before taking off. Will Omega & Hangman get on the same page before All Out?

Chris Jericho def. Joey Janela via submission with Orange Cassidy watching from ringside. Cassidy hit the ring to brawl with Jericho until Hager made the save. Sonny Kiss runs out and faces the same fate. Cassidy gets up and plants Jericho. Hager pulls Jericho out before anymore damage is done. Cassidy cracks open a bottle of bubbly to end the segment.

Taz comes to the ring flanked by Brian Cage and Ricky Starks. They’re quickly interrupted by Jake Roberts and Lance Archer, followed by Eddie Kingston with LBBB. Shawn Spears and Tully lurk in the background. Archer and Starks start the brawl, prompting Darby Allin to join in. Hager, Best Friends, Santana & Ortiz hit the ring, signaling their participation in the Casino Battle Royale.

Thunder Rosa def. Serena Deeb via pinfall in a very physical and competitive match. This was both of their AEW debut matches, with it being Deeb’s first televised match since the first Mae Young Classic tournament in 2017.

Backstage, Jon Moxley cuts a promo on his match with MJF at All Out.

Big Swole announces that she will face Britt Baker on the Buy In pre-show this Saturday. Baker viciously attacks Swole with a crutch before applying the claw with her mask.

Jon Moxley def. Mark Sterling via pinfall with Paradigm Shift. The match spilled into the ringside area briefly before Moxley took it back to the ring for the finish.

Wardlow laid Moxley out before MJF made his presence known. MJF ripped the neck brace off and proceeded to beat Moxley down further. Wardlow put MJF’s ring on for him, resulting in Moxley getting busted open. MJF wiped Moxley’s blood all over his face and raised up the World Title to end the show.

Join us on Saturday for complete All Out coverage.
